The castle had a various history related to many attacks by Turkish army and castle destructions. The last owners of the castle used some parts in 19. century to built buildings in villages around. Nowadays is reconstruction of small parts ongoing. Mostly by volunteers. The castle offers remarkable views on the forests around. Few very interesting architectonic parts are saved."
